오늘 점심을 먹으면서 직원들과 '사랑하면서 왜 사람들은 쉽게 헤어지나"에 대해서
이야기를 하였다. 언듯 떠오른 것이 에리히 프롬이 '사랑의 기술'이란 책에서 이야기했던
일반인들이 사랑에 대해 가지고 있는 3가지 잘못된 전제였다.
1. Most people see the problem of love primarily as that of being loved, rather than that of loving, of one's capacity to love.
2.The problem of love is the problem of an object, not the problem of a faculty.
3. in the confusion between the initial experience of "falling" in love, and the permanent state of being in love, or as we might better say, of "standing" in love.
사랑의 문제는 어떻게 사랑받는냐가 아니라, 어떻게 사랑하느냐에 촛점이 맞춰져야 한다.
사랑은 대상의 문제가 아니며, 사랑하는 능력의 문제다.
사랑에 빠지는 건 누구나 할 수 있지만, 사랑을 유지해 나가는 것, 또는 꿋꿋하게 사랑을 지켜나가는 것은 기술이 필요하다는 것이다.
